Planning our fall trip

This is our first attempt at maintaing a blog to record our RV adventures.  We enjoy the RV lifestyle.  Although we are not full time RVers, we are both retired and are flexable to travel as often as possible.  We follow several full time RVer blogs and hope to someday hook up with them in their journeys and share our adventures with them.
We have been planning our fall trip and have the first two weeks scheduled.  We will start out at our home base and head to the Myrtle Beach, SC area.  Spend two nights at Willow Tree Resort and then head up to the outer banks of North Carolina for several days.  From there we plan on heading west to Kentucky to visit relatives.

  1. Thanks for posting a comment on our blog (Tumbleweed). We'll be in Raleigh, NC in Oct, then going to Fla via SC and GA. If you're somewhere in the area we'd love to meet up. Just email us deewalter09@yahoo.com.

  2. Welcome to the blogging world! Willow Tree Resort looks nice. Myrtle Beach is on our schedule as we slowly return to Florida. Ocean Lakes looks beautiful (and expensive). Haven't made a reservation yet.

  3. Thanks for visiting our blog. Its a work in progress. Willow tree is our campground of choice when we visit the Myrtle Beach area. Its a little out of the way, and pricey, but its one of the best campgrounds we've stayed at. They do not have cable but you can pick up the local channels. The new Carolina Bays hi way runs parallel to Hwy 17 and it makes it easy to move up and down the Grand Strand area.

  4. Congratulations on your new blog. The more you include personal commentary and your opinions and observations, likes and dislikes, etc., the more you reveal of your personality. Most blog readers will quickly tune out a boring travelogue, but if they can quickly identify with the characters and what's going on in their lives, they'll be hooked. That's why reality shows are so popular. Good start!
