Preparing for our trip

This morning I pulled the RV up front.  Ran the generator for a little while and checked out AC power in unit.  Ran the AC unit for awhile to put a good load on the generator.  All seems OK.  Then washed the camper.  Thats a job! Next, back the camper up and get it level.  Hook up shore power and get the fridge going.  Takes about a day for the fridge to cool down enough to use it.  We will take the next few days to get the RV packed up with our clothes and stocked with food and drinks for the trip.

    Not sure of your exact route, but wondering if you will be going to Mayberry Days in NC in September. We went once and enjoyed it.

    We are only going to be there for an overnight stay this weekend. I remember last year when we stayed there on our way back they told us about a fall festival that they have each year toward the end of Sept. Forgot all about that.

    Will spend a few days in the Myrtle Beach area, then head up to Staunton Va and spend a few days touring the Shenadoan Valley. Then head west to Louisville Ky to visit sister. After that we will start the return home, fexible where we will stop after that. Refer to the google map at right.
